Developing Drugs that Target Individual Caspases

to Fight Dementia and Inflammatory Diseases

IPCURE is a precision biotech company developing first-in-class therapeutics at the intersection of inflammation and Regulated Cell Death. By selectively modulating high-value cysteine proteases such as Caspase-2, -1, and -4 through next-generation rational design, IPCure aims to unlock transformative treatments for neurodegenerative, inflammatory, and metabolic diseases. Our lead program focuses on Caspase-2, a pivotal upstream regulator of synaptic function, memory processes, and pathological neurodegeneration. Through highly selective small-molecule peptidomimetics, we are advancing a differentiated therapeutic strategy designed not merely to alleviate symptoms, but to intervene at an early mechanistic level of disease biology.

Casp2i program is currently progressing through advanced preclinical development, supported by strong enzymatic selectivity, translational biomarker strategy, and in vivo proof-of-concept in relevant models. IPCURE’s development path is initially focused on Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD-Tau), where a biomarker-driven and orphan-oriented strategy may enable an accelerated route to clinical value creation, before expanding into Alzheimer’s Disease.

In parallel, IPCURE is building a broader proprietary platform around selective caspase modulation, with the ambition to create a new class of therapeutics addressing major unmet needs across CNS, inflammation, and metabolism.
